Our experience

Decades of running people functions in large Maldivian organisations

Our leadership has run HR departments, administration divisions and people and culture functions for some of the largest employers in the country. They have served on state-owned company boards and executive management teams, written disciplinary and appraisal policies, managed training budgets and answered to directors for all of it. They have led crisis response for an essential public service and kept workforces safe and working through the pandemic.

How we train

Training that people still use months later

Staff flown abroad for a course, a certificate filed away, and nothing different at work the following month. Workshops booked because money was left in the budget in December. No record of who learned what, and no way to show the board whether any of it was worth the cost.

We start by finding out what your people need, train them close to home, and come back afterwards to check that it stuck.

A new legal duty

Workplace safety is now the law in the Maldives

The Workplace Safety and Health Act (Act No. 9/2023) puts legal duties on every employer. ISO 45001 is the international standard for showing that you meet them in an organised, auditable way.

We help you put a safety management system in place and prepare for certification. Our certificate courses, including OSH Coordinator and ISO 45001 internal auditor training, are conducted by an international partner firm with accredited trainers.

From boardrooms to school halls

We run strategy retreats for senior teams at Maldivian resorts, coach graduates through their first job applications, and organise open days and career fairs for schools and colleges. Different audiences, the same aim: people who are better prepared for the work in front of them.
