Career Days and Industry Exposure Programmes

Workplace visits, talks and hands-on sessions that connect schools and colleges with employers, so students see the work before they choose it.

Students choose careers better when they have seen the work for themselves. We design career days and industry exposure programmes that connect schools and colleges with employers and professionals.

Instead of sitting through talks in a hall, students visit real workplaces, watch professionals at work, try practical activities and ask questions. They learn what different jobs involve, which qualifications and skills they need, and how their studies connect to work. Each programme is planned around the students' age, interests and the routes open to them.

What a Programme Can Include

  • Behind-the-scenes visits to workplaces
  • Meetings with professionals, from engineers and technicians to business leaders
  • Demonstrations and practical activities
  • Introductions to industries, new occupations and the skills they require
  • Guidance on qualifications, vocational routes and further study

How We Work

We agree objectives with the school, find suitable industry partners, and handle planning, scheduling, logistics and facilitation. Where useful, we prepare students before a visit and run a reflection session afterwards, so they can connect what they saw with their studies and plans.

For employers, a programme is a chance to show their work, share knowledge and meet future recruits.

We also organise open days, career fairs, parent information sessions and exhibitions for schools and colleges.
