OSH Coordinator (OSH-C) Certificate Course
A 21-hour certificate course for staff who coordinate safety and health at work, conducted by an international OSH consultancy and adapted to Maldivian law and workplaces.

The OSH Coordinator keeps day-to-day safety and health work moving: identifying hazards, assessing risks, following up controls, keeping records and acting as the contact for safety matters. In many organisations the role sits alongside another job.
This course prepares staff for that role. It is conducted by an international OSH consultancy and adapted for Maldivian workplaces, with the Workplace Safety and Health Act (Act No. 9/2023) and its regulations built into the content. Short trainer-led sessions are mixed with group work, worksheets and practical exercises.

Common Questions
Does the course cover Maldivian law?
Yes. The content is adapted to include the Workplace Safety and Health Act (Act No. 9/2023) and its regulations, with examples from Maldivian workplaces.
Which certificate do participants receive?
Certificate arrangements are confirmed with the training provider for each course. Contact us and we will give you the details for the next one.
What is the difference between an OSH Coordinator and a safety officer?
An OSH Coordinator usually takes on safety and health duties alongside another job, in an organisation too small to need a full-time safety officer. A safety officer is a dedicated role with wider responsibilities and longer training.
Can we run the course for our own staff?
Yes. We can run it in-house for a group from one organisation, adapted to your industry, or you can send staff to an open programme.
