A leadership team that leaves the office for two or three days can make decisions that would otherwise take months of meetings. Away from phones and daily operations, people listen to each other, and the difficult subjects get the time they need.

We design the agenda with you, facilitate the sessions, and send a written action plan within a week of the retreat, with owners and dates for each decision.

Typical Programmes

  • Strategy and annual planning retreats
  • Board effectiveness and governance sessions
  • CEO and senior leader forums
  • Leadership team development
  • Workshops on innovation, transformation and the future of work

How a Retreat Comes Together

We start with a conversation about what the team needs to decide or resolve, then interview a few participants to understand the issues before the agenda is set. We look after resort selection, transfers, meeting rooms and the programme schedule, so the team can concentrate on the work.

Each day mixes working sessions with time to think and talk informally, which is often where agreement forms. For international groups we can arrange visiting facilitators for specialist topics.

Paperwork

Every retreat comes with a written agenda, attendance certificates and a single all-inclusive invoice for your records. The action plan becomes the record of what was agreed, and we can join a follow-up meeting a few months later to review progress.

For larger groups and staff training programmes, see training retreats in the Maldives. For a full strategic plan, see strategic planning facilitation.

Common Questions

How far ahead should we plan a retreat?

Two to three months is comfortable for most groups. Retreats in the peak tourist season, roughly December to April, are best booked earlier.

Which resorts do you use?

It depends on the size of the group, the budget and how much meeting space you need. We propose two or three options that suit the programme.

Can international teams join?

Yes. We work with international organisations and can arrange arrival transfers, visa information and a programme that suits participants travelling from abroad.

Tell us about your team, and we will plan the retreat around it

Send us a few lines about your organisation and what you are trying to achieve. We reply within one working day, and the first conversation costs nothing.
